Halloween is best in my little 'hood when all the neighbors gather in our front yards to hand out candy to the kids. And drink. Several cocktails make the event much more fun.
This little ice cube tray is going to make a great addition to this fine tradition. A few skull and crossbones will chill the vodka and help us celebrate the occasion.
Did I mention how great these would be for pirate-themed events?

geoGreeting
Remember the sentence "The quick brown fox jumped over the lazy dogs"? It uses every letter in the alphabet and helped check typewriter keys and stuff like that. You know, back in the day before everything was printed electronically.
You'll want to remember the lazy dog phrase when you visit geoGreetings.
geoGreeting.com is a fun site that has scoured the world for shapes that look like letters. You type in a message and they piece it together using aerial photos from around the world.
Send a greeting that's out of this world.

Pushing Daisies
Here's a television show that you must watch. Yes, I said must. No arguing.
The dialogue is witty, the sets are dreamy and the acting is terrific.
And it has Kristin Chenoweth - the original Glinda the Good Witch from the Broadway show Wicked. The other stars are great too, don't get me wrong.
You've got to love a show that is primarily set in a shop called "The Pie Hole".
If you missed the first season, head over to www.abc.com to watch the previous episodes.
Go set your Tivo for ABC on October 1st at 8:00. That's one week from today - plenty of time for you to clear your schedule. Don't let me catch you watching something else. I mean it.

Nastee Notes
Oh yeah, you read it right. This web site specializes in eloquently saying things you would love to say, but you just hate being so crude. Notice the pretty rhinestone and the yellow flowers. It's so sweet - almost.
Cards with titles such as “Not the brightest” and “Gold digger” pretty much say it all. And these are from the ‘not so nastee’ section.
Check out the ‘real nastee’ section on your own computer – not the one at work. Where they track all of your Internet actions. Including reading personal emails, like this one.
Oops. Too late. Well, keep goofing off then. You've got the time, now.

Spice up your next report at work
Have you seen those “word clouds” where all the text is scrambled together in different sizes and styles? Sure, it kind of makes your head hurt trying to figure it out. But they’re snackworthy to me nonetheless.
Here’s a web site that let’s you create your own. Go to Wordle.com and type in your message, click Create, then click Open in Window and edit until satisfied. Press Print Screen on your keyboard for a screen grab. Paste this into a photo editor or document to save your work.
Of course, that means you have to write something yourself. Or just copy and paste from snackworthy – if you’re that lazy. Like me.

Chairman Meow
My two terriers don’t believe in live and let live. They want to rid the world of all cats.
What my dogs don’t realize is that cats are uniting under Chairman Meow. Much like Mao, Chmn. Meow is leading a revolution - a feline revolution. Go to this web site for some hilarious propoganda and learn more about their ideology.
Buy a t-shirt and give it to your favorite cat person. No matter how much you think they should own a dog.

Relax, I'm a ninja
A friend has convinced her children that she's a secret ninja who sneaks out at night. What she does as a ninja, I'm not really sure. I think it just helps keeps her kids in line.
But I think the secret is out. Especially if she carries one of these tote bags from Hella Good. This simple, black cotton tote helps you carry your nunchuks and ninja swords.
You'd better hurry if you want to get one. Everyone knows that ninjas disappear fast. (And the website says they have limited quantities.)

Thomas Paul
Thomas Paul... Thomas Paul... Yeah, I'd never heard of him either.
But you should get to know him. Mr. Paul has an amazing collection of home accessories including pillows, plates, lighting and rugs. All are very beautiful. The plates shown to the left are from his Sea Life series.
These dishes will be great for your next fabulous dinner party. Which I'm sure you'll invite me this time, right? Don't make me beg. It's not pretty.

Keyboard 2.0
Oh, my god. I can't believe you're using last year's keyboard. Don't you know how boring it is? Do something with that tired old thing already! It's embarrassing.
At the very least, get some new press ons to freshen it up. These useful keys include new options that your old board could never do.
While it won't help your typing (nothing will), the colors sure will complement that new manicure.
Pick up a set right away. After all, you don't want all the other computers making fun of your keyboard.

Jawbone
In another month, it will be convertible weather. That time of the year when friends and family claim they can't hear me on my mobile phone.
But I've got plans for this fall. I'm buying this new headset for my phone. It has noise reduction technology built in that really works. The headset rests against your skin and picks up on the vibrations of your jaw while you talk. Check out the video demonstration on their web site. Amazing, huh?
Now no one has an excuse to hang up on me. Again and again and again.

Corner frames
Kids these days are so lucky. When I was young, it used to be a punishment to sit in the corner. Now, kids can stare at beautiful artwork while doing their time.
OK, well only if their parents have invested in something they read on Snackworthy. Today, we're talking about frames that wraps around corners. And they go both ways, into the corner or around the corner.
They're very cool. Very pricey. And European. Aren't all the cool things from those darn Europeans? Maybe they were bad as kids too.

Free fonts
One of my favorite features on a computer is the ability to change fonts. They're very important to me.
Whether you're creating an invitation to a party at your home (I better be invited) or trying to liven up a boring business presentation (don't invite me to that), the right font is essential.
Go to Dafont. They have thousands of fonts. And here's the best part. They are FREE. Yeah, I know. It's like winning the lottery ... just without all the money and quitting your job and fun stuff.
Maybe I've oversold it. OK, how's this? Dafont is a great place for free fonts. And they even have instructions on how to install, for those who might struggle.

Hamlet 2
If you're a fan of the television show "South Park" or the movie "Team America" from a couple of years ago, you'll enjoy Hamlet 2. It is a new comedy in theaters now. Hurry to see it, because I'm sure it won't last long.
Here are a few tips to help you enjoy it.
1. When the cast sings "Rock Me Sexy Jesus", you'll be thankful you took my advice and left you're BFF bible thumper at home.
2. When drama class gets overrun by Hispanics students and all the ethnic jokes start flying, you'll be thankful that your Hispanic friends were too busy to join you.
3. When Amy Poehler's character cries out "I'm married to a Jew - I've got nothing less to lose", you'll be thankful you forgot to invite your old pals, Barbara Streisand and Adam Sandler. (Although, imagine those two hanging out together...)
OK, so the list could go on and on. Basically, see this by yourself. Then you won't feel uneasy laughing hysterically.
